Hello!!!

Thank you in advance for writing me a fic for Chocolate Box! I'm super excited. Also, thought it would be a good idea to say upfront that I am always delighted by late treats for any of my requested fandoms (no matter how late)!

I've organized the letter by general likes/DNWs and then more specifically by fandom. I love to consume fic of most types and genres and am generally not very picky as long as you avoid my DNWs. I have some potential prompts/general rants on why I like the ship just for guidance but please feel free to go with my general likes instead or whatever tickles your fancy! My AO3 is also below if you want to browse my fics/bookmarks for a feel of what I like.

• Canon-verse, canon-divergence, canon-related AUs (e.g. AU built into existing canon universe/lore) - I usually prefer canon-ish fics wherever possible, but AUs have their own charm to me, so please don't take that to mean I don't like AUs! 
• Pining, mutual pining, feelings realization moments
• Deep emotional connections/friendships, found family, solving problems together as a team
• Character development/character-driven stories, I don't really even need plot tbh, character and relationship studies are some of my favourite things to read.

Read the entire manga and watched the entire anime ... a very long time ago, like back when all I read was on FFN and not AO3, so let's change that, shall we? 

L/Yagami Light

•  Their dynamic is such an interesting one - I like how they are always circling the other to try to get the other to bend, their fascination with the other being perhaps the only equal that can challenge them, the goddamn stupid taunting and sexual tension in certain scenes. 
• I'd love anything relating to their canon relationship/personalities, the Death Note part of a part of it being preferred as I think AUs can sometimes miss/shift their relationship dynamic a lot. How do their first impressions of each other change over time? Or not? 5 times they thought they outwitted each other and the one time they did? I've always been interested in their behind the scenes during Light's memory-wipe phase and how L re-imagines Light: is he sympathetic? Curious? Drawn? In denial? Does he give Light any allowances on being Kira during this time? Does he have to remind himself of the truth of the matter? If they struck up an unlikely relationship during this time, how do the return of the memories change that, if at all?
• Feel free to explore the insanity that would be their sexual dynamic at any time. Sex is really about control anyway, right? And they're both such control freaks, I can see it getting insanely kinky and rough just for kicks and the desire for submission.

Haikyuu!!

I am caught up on both the finished manga and the anime (up to and including S4 at this point in time.)

Akaashi Keiji/Bokuto Koutarou

• I love these two being a good match for each other. how Akaashi always watches out for Bokuto, how dependable they find each other. I love how Akaashi's lists of Bokuto facts (so maybe something in that zone), Bokuto's bright nature and unabashed charisma and confidence that draws everyone in. 
• Canon or AU, your choice. I just think they complement each other extremely well, so whether you explore pre-relationship pining or just being so close that everyone already thinks they're dating anyway, the weird sweet things they do for each other once they get together, or just being an old married couple who are way too into each other the whole damn time, that'd make me super happy. 

Kuroo Tetsurou/Tsukishima Kei

• I have no idea how I got super into these two. There's something about the mentor/mentee relationship. I love how easygoing Kuroo is (esp how he calls Tsukishima Tsukki) but also how easily they read each other. I love their rivalry but also how they help each other in training, and cheer each other on to do better and grow into their own authentic self together. Give me their snark and goading each other on, give me their support of each other, their devotion (long distance relationship?). I like the idea of Kuroo having seen something in Tsukishima the first time they met and how that perhaps shifts and grows stronger over time as they grow to know each other better. 
• How do they react to grand gestures? How do their respective teams take their new relationship? Who takes the lead in the relationship and why? (Given they're both not the type to back down but also would totally play mind games with the other).

Hinata Shouyou/Kageyama Tobio

• Ah yes, Kagehina, the ship I've adored from the get-go. Reasons I like them are many but it really comes down to how Haikyuu was centered around them, about their rivalry but also how they make each other better. They both start off with so many flaws but when they come together, they are in many ways invincible. That goes for volleyball but also just their inherent personalities I think - despite all the bickering and all, I think they really do have a very fond spot for each other and trust each other a lot.
• That being said, feel free to explore any of that. The times they missed each other when apart (in any arc), what kind of outlandish promises and competitions they may have with each other (in volleyball? at home? when abroad? in an AU?), what new things do they teach each other once they get together? Is Kageyama crap at romance and needs help from his friends? Is Hinata too oblivious and lovestruck to care? How in the world did they get together anyhow given how thick their skulls are? They probably needed some luck...or help... the possibilities are endless.

Hinata Shouyou/Kageyama Tobio/Kozume Kenma

• A ship I never really thought about and AO3 has very few of. I'm pretty open to anything if you're writing this for me, but the gist of it is I like how Hinata brings those two together somehow. They both adore Hinata in their own ways, so why wouldn't they find ways to make it work? It would probably not be easy, but the three of them are so different that it just might work.
• Some things that might help: Kageyama's inability to accept failure or give up on what he wants, Hinata wanting two of his closest friends to get along and like each other (maybe a bit too much), Kenma's being cool and aloof being a front for the things he's afraid to admit out loud - OR maybe he doesn't really mind and just says what he wants after calculating the odds of success being quite high. How do these all intersect? How do they negotiate?

Hunter X Hunter
I've only seen the 2011 anime in its entirety, so that's where my love for killugon primarily resides.

Gon Freecs/Killua Zoldyck, Gon Freecs & Killua Zoldyck

• Ok I absolutely adore this pairing, romantic or platonic. It is so clear how much they mean and care for each other in canon, and in how the fandom including myself is obsessed with bringing them back together post separation.
• I would love your take on their reunion. When does it happen, how, who initiates? How have they grown better or worse apart? Do they travel again? Do they have a heart to heart where they admit their shortcomings? There is often a focus on Gon's apology to Killua after the CA arc, but maybe Killua apologizes too for not saying anything sooner. Maybe they realize they were too young for what they got caught up in, and needed to take that step back to find their youth again. Maybe they find that again in each other.
• Romantically, I really like the concept of their different love languages. We get a lot of Killua POV in canon, but he doesn't voice most of it, contrary to Gon. How do they make their relationship work given this? Is there insecurity? Shyness? Grand gestures gone right or wrong? Who initiates and when? I'm a big fan of their roles being dynamic and fluid, with the both of them loving and knowing each other well enough to know when to take a step forward or back - but it might take them a while to discover this (which would be super fun to read about). Reading about them being domestic would be also *chef's kiss* becaue they deserve happiness.
• Along that vein, I think their first times would be interesting - they love each other a lot and how does that manifest in their physical affection for one another? My mind goes to praise kink and switching pretty much right away, but happy to read anything that you think could fit their characters well in that development! Aged up 16+ is fine by me if you go this route

Naruto

Finished the manga and watched maybe like halfway through Shippuden. 

Gaara/Rock Lee

 

•  Was in love with this pairing from Naruto so so long ago, and recently decided to rediscover it. What I like about it is probably the same as everyone else who likes them - Lee's earnestness, his easy-going nature and determination, his willingness to improve himself and be valuable/useful, his kindheartedness and ability to forgive + Gaara's vulnerability hidden behind by his strength and his shell, learning about what it means to be there for others, using his power to protect not only himself but those he cares for, learning to communicate what he wants, slowly but surely.
• They fit really well - they've both had shitty childhoods and slowly gain friends and family who get their true authentic selves throughout canon. They were each other's firsts in many ways and I'd love to read more of their firsts as they navigate a potential relationship. Would Lee be enthusiastic? Clueless or perhaps not from thorough research whenever he sets his mind to something, like it's training? Would Gaara skirt around the issue because he's unsure/nervous, or would he be super straight forward without regard for social norms or those around them? Their characters are so interesting that I'd find any stage of their relationship from feelings realization to confession to dating to commitment to sex an enthralling read.
• What really defines their relationship for me is how they met and what that paved the way for watching out for each other, being a fighting pair, being friends. Would hence prefer canon-type fics, but if you can replicate the same dynamic in an AU, all props to you and I'd love to see it

Tennis no Oujisama | Prince of Tennis

Read the entire manga and watched the entire show (plus some OVAs a long time ago), but I don't know much about the New Prince of Tennis manga, so let's just pretend that isn't in play here. If you choose to go smutty here, please age up to 16+! 

Atobe Keigo/Sanada Genichirou

• I adore the idea of these two being together. They contrast so well, both strong in their own rights and their personalities clash a lot, kind of like that tango they're named after. Neither are likely to back down, but Atobe is more likely to brag and bitch about it than Sanada who'd be more levelheaded but also brood over it. I think they make good rivals, but also good partners in that right.
• How do they live life after junior high tennis? Do they go their separate ways? Do they turn pro? How do they still keep in contact - or maybe not at all and they bump into each other again one day at some tango concert and reminisce and catch up? 
• Also would be happy to read a variety of AUs: royalty AU or a soulmate AU comes to mind, mainly because of the potential in their 'meet-cute but really not that cute' and how they'd navigate being linked with the other somehow even though they're so different (e.g. prince/servant or opposing kingdoms, or thinking the other is really beneath or not at all likely to be their soulmate) - but would be happy with whatever AU floats your boat for these two. 

Atobe Keigo/Tezuka Kunimitsu

• Kind of similar to Tango pair, I like the idea of Atobe being paired with someone who can handle his diva-ness and more exuberant personality and how he might even tone himself down a bit more for his other half and treat them as well as he can. I like how they challenge each other, how they definitely see each other as worthy rivals although expressed in different ways.
• Show me how their love languages differ, how even if Tezuka is less forceful or loud-spoken, he still gives Atobe his full attention and affection. Show me how their teams react to this unlikely relationship - maybe Hyotei is outraged and overprotective, maybe Seigaku is just in disbelief at first before getting super invasive into the details of what, where, why too. How will their paths diverge after school? 

Fuji Shuusuke/Kikumaru Eiji

• This was honestly my first pair I stumbled into for PoT and at the time (a very long time ago, literally when I started in fandom), I had no idea it was a rare pair. Some author on FFN dragged me in and I just found their relationship more interesting than the primary other ships they have. I like Fuji's mysterious, sweet, dangerous nature and his friendship with Eiji who is naturally just as bright but maybe more pure on the surface level. I like the idea of Fuji being a good friend, like helping Eiji with homework, or giving advice, or Eiji being down to earth with Fuji and being trusted with his secrets.
• They're both very sweet people in different ways, how would that manifest in a relationship? Somehow I'd think Fuji might be a bit whipped, so maybe show me how fluffy their dates would be! But also Fuji definitely has a devious side, so he wouldn't give Eiji what he wants right off the bat without making him whine and work for it. But they're also very different: Eiji is very fast paced while Fuji is more willing to wait, both on and off the court. I think their career paths would be pretty different, but they'd be supportive of each other too. 

Harry Potter

Remus Lupin/Sirius Black

• I have so much to say about Wolfstar but urgh I just want to fix their tragedy most of all. Most of what I've enjoyed reading were Marauder era, but a during canon fix-it would also be great by me. 
• What I like about them is their friendship and devotion to each other, how even if Sirius is the less serious one (lol), Remus is still a Marauder for a reason. They'd tease each other, but also be so there for each other, be ready to explore and experiment with each other, and trust each other with their secrets and their lives. You can play with that piece post Pettigrew, and how that shifts their relationship, the reconciliation, all the like. 
• Also, Remus has some issues regarding his werewolf status, how does Sirius help him navigate it? Do they start off as just friends fooling around? Does Remus' tentativeness change when they catch feelings? When they're older and more mature, does that change? Or maybe they only discover it after they get each other back for real, and find and are able to admit what is important, given they're the only two left that matters. Any mix of canon-divergence or related scenes/explorations would be wonderful to read.

魔道祖师 - 墨香铜臭 | Módào Zǔshī - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù

I've read the novel & seen the donghua, but not the live action, and I don't know the major plot deviations. If you choose to integrate live action details, I don't mind as long as you explain it within the context of the fic so I'm not too confused.

Jiāng Chéng / Wèi Wúxiàn

• I blame one very particular fanfic for making me sink into this ship but damn, I'm kind of sad this pair isn't as popular. I love Wangxian as much as anyone (which I am also requesting), but there's just something super intriguing that draws me the fuck in for this pair. Yes, they're technically brothers, but also not. They grew up together, starting off rocky but then growing to be dependable for each other. They both had rough backstories, and I still cry over the golden core reveal and what caused it - feel free to explore this a shitton becasue god, the potential. 
• I'm obsessed with their relationship dynamic from JC's perspective. He resents WWX for being talented, for fitting the family motto better, for doing as he pleases with little punishment (but when he gets it, JC doesn't really relish in it either - and when their family takes the downfall for it in a way, JC can't help but hate WWX for it, even if the blame really ultimately lies elsewhere). Does this stem from wanting to be more like WWX but that's not who he is? Does he fall in love with that a little along the way? Or does he hate him more for it? The line there is very blurry and my head keeps running to this lovely dub-con area that could both end happily or not. I just want those inner emotions of JC's explored. He isn't a bad guy for feeling the way he does - where those emotions ultimately stem from though is imo more complicated than just straight forward anger towards WWX, and hence lies the appeal of this ship to me.

Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian
 

• Of course, the appeal of Wangxian is clear in the canon. I love their backstories and LWJ's devotion so much, and WWX's misinterpretation of his repressed interest when they're younger. I love how damn whipped they are for each other in the aftermath of getting together. Give me more of that, how they show their love and how they treasure each other, how the cultivation world receives their relationship, what they promise to each other after all they've been through. Make it romantic and sweet because they deserve happiness. 
• I saw this tag "let the Yiling Patriach top LWJ" and I'd love it if you could contribute to this. Wangxian needs more switching, honestly, and don't tell me you don't think LWJ would be down for it because he most certainly would.

Tower of God

I'm caught up to the latest chapter of the Webtoon and watched the anime, though I much prefer Webtoon characterization.

Khun Aguero Agnis/Twenty-Fifth Baam | Jyu Viole Grace

• Ah yes, the OTP that sunk me into AO3 hell in 2020. I've written and read so much for khunbam that sometimes I think fanon is canon (the hiatus as of late has not helped), so honestly, I'm down for whatever else you'd like to do for this ship. 
• Again, love their devotion to one another - how they're drawn to each other and how Khun promises to take Bam to the top (which escalates as the series goes on in terms of just how far he'd go for Bam). I like how Bam begins to trust and miss Khun more than anyone. I like their synergy with each other a lot, how while Khun thinks too much with his brain, Bam thinks mostly with his heart. They balance each other out quite well.
• Maybe explore how Bam navigates their relationship given he grew up in a cave and doesn't know social norms so well - maybe Khun doesn't either, given his upbringing and disillusionment with his father and his family. I'd think they would both really like being together though, maybe nothing changes because they're so close to each other already. Or maybe it lies in the little things, maybe their team notices and teases them. Maybe an enemy notices and takes advantage. So many possibilities!
• Would also welcome any number of AUs for them! Maybe they're separated by class in a royalty AU but find a way to be together. Maybe in a magical world, Khun finds Bam to hold the key to finishing his mission and falls in love along the way. Maybe they start off rivals in some way, but then find common ground when they realize neither is a bad person. Idk, I love them a lot, do whatever you'd like!

Hatz/Khun Aguero Agnis

• This is a rare pair of mine that I've been meaning to write for but haven't really found the chance. Really simple premise though - they get on each other's nerves in canon but still respect one another.
• I'd like to see them begrudgingly but still working and fighting well together. I'd also love to see their sexual tension go through the roof, maybe resolve it via your method of choice.

Hatz/Shibisu

• I haven't seen much of this at all despite living in the ToG fandom for the better half of 2020, and now I'm intrigued. They lived and fought for so many years together. They know each other well and definitely trust each other's skills - Shibisu's brains and Hatz's physical strength. I think they'd have hilarious conversations, with Hatz being snarky and Shibisu just brushing it off in his usual upbeat way. But you know Isu would take things seriously if it was important. Maybe he confesses and Hatz thinks it's a joke - and then realizes he made a mistake. Maybe it was a drunken mistake one night but then they realize it isn't so bad and they suit each other pretty well so they stick with it and find it more enjoyable than they'd like.

FullMetal Alchemist

Again, finished the manga and the anime (FMA:B to be specific. I've seen the original as well but such a long time ago that I'm not too sure if it counts anymore lol).

Ed/Al

• So, I know why this ship isn't as popular as I'd like (ahem the incest factor), but at the base of FMA is the Elric brothers' devotion to each other to the ends of the world, no matter what it takes. That isn't in dispute. I see it going from familial to romantic very easily. 
• The tough part is how they admit those feelings to one another. They would never ask each other for something they know the other wasn't comfortable with, so how do they get around that? Does Ed help Al explore his new body and it gets out of hand - and they have to deal with the awkwardness that was them both liking it? Or it doesn't have to be sexual: maybe people tease them both on getting dates as hot eligible bachelors and they both don't know what to do with that because they're happy just being with each other (or maybe they're already together and just have to hide the truth from the world but are okay with that too).  

 

Agents of Shield

Seen all seven seasons and love love love it.

Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons

• I love them. I love how I thought Fitzsimmons was also one character at first. I love how well they work together and can read each other's minds almost. I love how they literally get ripped apart by space and time and say fuck it, I'm getting him/her back anyway. I love that the show gave them a happy ending, so please give them more happy moments. Domestic the crap out of it with their new family (I know I said no kid-fic, but like if you go this route, you can mention their kid lol, just not focus on it the entire time would be fine by me).
• A 5+1 on the number of times they were torn apart and one time time they came back together to stay would be so good to read. I don't know if there are 5 off the top of my head but I wouldn't be surprised. 
• Maybe something re: framework fallout with Aida and the Doctor and how they deal with that

Enoch & Leo Fitz

• Their friendship was an unlikely one but a sweet one. I haven't seen a lot of it but I'd like to see how Enoch treasures it in his own unique way given how chronicoms don't see things the same way as humans.
• Maybe something on how they lived in S6 training to get ready for the bidding, how Fitz reacted and then got on board.

Phil Coulson & Skye | Daisy Johnson

• I really like him being a dependable father figure to Daisy when she had no one else. Their familial relationship really carried the show a lot of the time and again, would love a 5+1 on their relationship through canon - and oh boy AoS canon is so dense that you could probably do like 10+1 if you wanted.
• Specifically, how does she cope with his passing? The LMD version? How do they move on and be there for each other after they part?

Skye | Daisy Johnson/Grant Ward

• Oof a ship I was all for until the betrayal but then went hey, maybe I am still really into this. He was someone she looked up to, and she would definitely still kick his ass if she got the opportunity. Maybe some hatesex or sexual tension at a time of your choosing. Maybe she dominates the hell out of him, or plays him to get information.
• I also liked their framework life, how he gets a sort of redemption there, and perhaps how their life could have worked out in another lifetime.
