Hi!

Thanks for creating something for me! The thing I love the most about fandom is seeing everyone's passions and the different takes everyone has on the same canon/premise/characters, so I'm super excited to see what you come up with! Especially in such a short period of time :O

I've organized this letter into general likes & DNWs and then by fandom specific prompts/likes/thoughts that might inspire you. If you need more inspiration, feel free to browse my AO3 works/bookmarks, old exchange letters on my dreamwidth (which are tagged by fandom) and mix and match ideas as you see fit - or just go with whatever your muse is telling you! Save for my DNWs, I'm not picky and like a whole lot of stuff.

Likes:
  • Settings based in canon:
    • Examples: canon-divergence, missing scenes in canon, post-canon, pre-canon, etc.
    • I adore works that deal with the 'what-if's, and gaps in worldbuilding/lore/character relationships that get explored/explained!
  • AUs:
    • Some common AUs I like include: magic/magical realism, royalty, time loops, alternative professions, reincarnation (especially if it ties into their canon-selves!)
    • I also love AUs based off other established canons (Hogwarts is my personal fav, alongside Hunger Games/Avatar the Last Airbender, but really anything goes as long as you depict it in a way that doesn't require me to know the canon - maybe you'll convince me to pick it up ...)

  • Romance-Specific Tropes/Themes:
    • Feelings realization: whether abrupt, long stupid pining, or like long stupid mutual pining. All good flavours!

    • Relationship progression past just getting together. I'd like to see how they navigate their new feelings/relationship status, all the ups and downs!
    • Identity porn/use of names as symbolism to convey a specific relationship/point/identity (e.g. nickname only A calls B, given names only A can call B, that trope where A calls out B by a different name when they're in danger for the first time, all that good stuff!)
    • Dysfunctional/unhealthy relationships (e.g. codependence, power imbalance, shouldn't/can't be with each other b/c of ~circumstances~), especially when the characters are still horribly attracted/drawn to the other.
    • In every lifetime, it's you
    • For you and only you, I'll do anything. Corruption arcs are sexy, and so is A going feral/unhinged only for B.
  • Smut-Specific Tropes/Themes:
    • Sexual tension of all varieties (accidental, a device for feelings realization, or being a tease on purpose!), especially if it's resolved by the end.
    • Dub-con and non-con of all types (Some favourite flavours include sex pollen, fuck or die, A/B/O - whether conventional or unconventional pairings/tropes, blackmail/to protect someone else/under duress, somnophilia, okay I can probably go on and on, but you get the gist!) Really love the loss of control, guilt, innate vulnerability and emotional mess that arises from these kinds of scenarios.
    • Sexual insatiability - whether that be from drugs or a/b/o hormones or whatnot, your pick!
    • Edging, orgasm denial, overstimulation
    • Sexual experimentation of all types (more about the navigation of trying new things than whatever that new thing is, but either or goes!)
    • Switching, switching up power dynamics/power imbalance
    • Voyeurism, exhibitionism
    • Hatesex (with actual feelings suppressed underneath or genuine hatred, up to you), especially if it's like an unhealthy/unestablished relationship but the sex is just too good to let go of it
    • Subspace/subdrop + aftercare
    • I've also been trying to make the tag "Pining while fucking" a canonical tag on AO3 for whenever they do non-fandom canonicals again, so if you can somehow add that in as a tag, you will have my heart!!! <3
DNWs:

Hunter X Hunter

I've only watched the 2011 Anime which is where my love and knowledge lies, but manga spoilers are a-ok by me.
Gon Freecs/Killua Zoldyck (HxH)
  • Ok I absolutely adore this pairing. It is so clear how much they mean and care for each other in canon, and in how the fandom (including myself) is obsessed with bringing them back together post separation.
  • I would love your take on their reunion. When does it happen, how, who initiates? How have they grown better or worse apart? Do they travel again? Do they have a heart to heart where they admit their shortcomings? There is often a focus on Gon's apology to Killua after the CA arc, but maybe Killua apologizes too for not saying anything sooner. Maybe they realize they were too young for what they got caught up in, and needed to take that step back to find their youth again. Maybe they find that again in each other.
  • Romantically, I really like the concept of their different love languages. We get a lot of Killua POV in canon, but he doesn't voice most of it, contrary to Gon. How do they make their relationship work given this? Is there insecurity? Shyness? Grand gestures gone right or wrong? Who initiates and when?
  • I'm a big fan of their roles being dynamic and fluid, with the both of them loving and knowing each other well enough to know when to take a step forward or back - but it might take them a while to discover this (which would be super fun to read about). Reading about them being domestic would be also *chef's kiss* because they deserve happiness.
  • Along that vein, I think their first times would be interesting - they love each other a lot and how does that manifest in their physical affection for one another? My mind goes to praise kink and switching pretty much right away, but happy to read anything that you think could fit their characters well in that development! I'm fine with keeping them 14 or older (aka post canon, aged up if you'd like but not needed) if you go this route! Teenagers gotta find their groove sometime, right?
  • The codependency between them is also so, so, delicious. As sweet as I love them, I can imagine this getting a little dark/toxic as well, especially given their history and falling back into old habits, putting each other on a pedestal or unable to communicate things the way they'd like. Feel free to explore residual guilt, self-loathing, wanting to please the other no matter what, etc.

Daiya no A

I binged this anime so hard and then immediately proceeded to catch up into the manga, which I am at now and will continue to be, if some crazy developments happen in the next few weeks I'M ALL FOR SEEING IT.

Miyuki Kazuya/Sawamura Eijun (Daiya no A)
  • I was hooked on this pairing as soon as Sawamura went to Seidou JUST for Miyuki. Like, that kind of connection is freaking GOLD. Comedic gold too. I love them being a good battery together and still being lighthearted, knowing how to rile each other up and motivate each other. They're such devils with themselves and each other, but also take themselves very seriously when it counts.
  • I'd love to see their relationship stages through the ages, from how joke-ish it starts to perhaps something more serious and profound as they take more responsibility within the team and become more senior. When/if they get together and how is totally up to your discretion!
  • The idea of maturity though is something I'm really enamoured with for them, and what might potentially drive that change, but also retain their humour, trust, and sweetness & snark with one another, especially after Miyuki graduates. How do they make that work if at all? There's a hilarious "Miyuki Kazuya is Bad at Feelings" AO3 tag that always makes me chuckle because yeah, I love how the fandom collectively agrees that he's exactly like that, and while Sawamura wears his heart on his sleeve, he doesn't seem to be much of a relationship expert either - or maybe he thinks he is and totally bombs it, or does something incredibly sweet in his own way. There's so much potential there!
  • Miyuki struggling as a captain and Sawamura helping him, on purpose or by accident. Or vice versa, Sawamura finds out that Miyuki asked Chris to help him out with his Yips for pitching inside, and grows a new appreciation for Miyuki who pretends it isn't a big deal or doesn't know how to really deal with straight forward affection or thanks. Some communication 5+1s would be so cool to see.
  • The idea of the importance and connection of a battery, and jealousy regarding them splitting up as a battery. There's definitely a bit of that when Miyuki goes to the All Japan game and everyone including Sawamura is so caught up on whether or not he formed a battery with Narumiya. Miyuki obviously brushes it off, but feel free to take that whole battery metaphor, possessive behaviour and envy up a few notches, let them yell it out, fuck it out, however you'd like!
  • If you choose to go smutty for them, feel free to! I don't need them aged up past their canon ages at the beginning of the series, but you're more than welcome to of course. I think they'd have a lot of fun in the dorms trying to sneak around, before/after practice, fumbling and trying to figure out what the fuck they're doing.
Miyuki Kazuya/Narumiya Mei (Daiya no A)
  • So, I never really thought this was a rare pair given their history but they are, so I am obligated now to request them. Ahem, childhood not quite friends, Miyuki being the one that 'got away' to Mei when he turns his invitation to Inashiro down in order to BEAT HIM, them facing off against each other in the finals TWICE, Mei being the only one who calls Miyuki KAZUYA. Please, this is A+ chemistry and dynamic and I need more of them!
  • One part of what really enamours me about them is how they're both assholes and they know it and they know it in each other too. Growing up together obviously, they've been rather close (points to the first name basis and sobs) and get each other, respect each other's skills, and are a natural fit as catcher and pitcher. Lay into all that battery metaphor! I love how they both are so confident and good enough to stand by their bigshot words, especially Mei, and how they really fuck around trying to bring the best out of each other, and BEAT that down.
  • I loved when they formed a battery in All Japan. I'd love to see more during that, before or after. There's just so much there...Miyuki gives up Mei's fake tell, Mei pitching, to prove something to Miyuki on the mound, and whether that encounter leads to anything more. Feelings, talk about the future, etc.
  • Feel free to decide who wins their second battle against each other and how that ending, their graduation, perhaps going pro, frames their relationship!
  • I've gone this long without saying uh, I have no idea when they would potentially get together or not. There's something really captivating about their butting heads kind of dynamic which makes this question hard to answer! I can see them in so many ways: being on and off since they were kids and pretending it isn't a big deal, screwing around as friends with benefits and then catching feelings, letting their tension melt away in a post game angry makeout session against the wall somewhere, playing on the same pro team and realizing what they've wanted all along, playing on different pro teams and sleeping with the enemy, etc etc. They could totally break up and then realize they're the only person who can handle the other's bullshit too. They don't need to be conventional, given how long they've circled and chased each other all this time, so there's a lot there. I think I just genuinely enjoy them clashing physically, sexually, emotionally, and then deciding yeah, he's the bastard I wanna be with.
  • I am also very much craving a Royalty AU with these two with Mei as the actual prince and seeing how Miyuki defies convention in every way the way he totally would as whatever role you deem fit!

Jujutsu Kaisen

I've watched the anime and is/will stay up to date with the manga and whatever new content that comes out! Feel free to go as up to date as you'd like!
Fushiguro Megumi/Sukuna | Ryoumen Sukuna (JJK)
  • There are a lot of things I can say about Sukufushi that entices me, ranging from the sweet to the very much not. I like all aspects of the spectrum, which is why they're SO GOOD. The whole 'villain is captivated by this one person who is like totally fine with it' is such a good pairing. Just thinking of all the canon scenes where they think of each other, the references to Megumi being important to Sukuna (whether that's because of his abilities or something else), Sukuna taking care of him and making sure he doesn't die in Shibuya, etc etc, just ruins me. It could totally be for his own self interest and goals, but maybe somewhere along the way, Megumi just captures his attention and he can't let it go.
  • For sweet, I like how tender and encouraging Sukuna is with Megumi? Please have your take on why Sukuna is so fascinated with him, whether it's his technique or his heritage or his personality or whatever. I like the idea of Megumi either being disinterested or casually accepting of Sukuna's affections, not knowing to what extent Sukuna cares for him and being surprised when he eventually finds out. Maybe Megumi learns of Sukuna's intentions and decides to help him after a slow burn romance; maybe he despises Sukuna's plans and is rather torn between whether or not he should do it out of loyalty to Sukuna or stick to his own morals. Maybe he gets coerced into it, or manipulated into it.
  • For not sweet, all the dub-con/non-con would be so excellent. Obsession gone wrong, toxic relationship where Sukuna wants Megumi in ways Megumi can't or doesn't want to offer him. Perhaps Megumi gets enticed by Sukuna's expertise or knowledge but then gets in too deep. Maybe he sacrifices himself after realizing his worth in Sukuna's eyes in favour of something else, or protecting someone. The fandom likes to play around with 4 arm large Sukuna with a side of 2 dicks and I am totally on board with that if you are!
  • On that note, totally fine with their canon ages + age gap, but feel free to age up if you'd like.
Zenin Mai/Zenin Maki (JJK)
  • Feel free to go more on the gen side if you'd like, or lean into romantic!
  • I really like the dynamic between these two, from young and loving and learning how to grow up - and differently from each other, growing apart with different ideals, to how that morphs as they become jujutsu sorcerers in their own right. There's so much familial love and angst there at the same time, and I would love to see that explored in whatever manner you choose, and how they perhaps take it out on each other emotionally, physically, etc. If you'd like to go sexual with them, I'm okay with their canon ages or aged up if you prefer, and how that complicates an already very complicated relationship, especially with Mai's whole Maki complex and all. What if she's good at sex too? Or not?
  • I like how Mai tries to justify her own feelings and internalize them, feeling rather bitter about everything versus how Maki is more headstrong and open. I like to see them conversing/confronting each other more openly on how their lives were shaped by their awful upbringing, and perhaps them banding together to change that in ways different from the canon... yes, please diverge as much as you'd like to make that happen. Or hurt me. I'm cool with that too.
  • I love their devotion to each other as well. They obviously show it in different fashions, so feel free to compare/contrast them, and show how strong their overall bond is in moments that truly matter.
Fushiguro Megumi & Itadori Yuuji & Kugisaki Nobara (JJK)
  • I love these three being together and how different their personalities are and how well they work together while bickering and judging each other at the same damn time.
  • Maybe they tackle a curse together, kind of like a casefic, and they all showcase their strengths/make up for each other's weaknesses. Maybe they just have a nice day out and go shopping, eat somewhere, be normal teenagers, gossip, make fun of their teachers and classmates. Maybe they have a sleepover and share a heart to heart. Maybe take them to end of canon where they've conquered/saved the world together but held onto an unending friendship no matter what despite the sacrifices/what they've lost.
  • If you'd like to explore Nobara past where she's last seen in canon in whatever ending for her you choose, and how the two of them react to that and how their relationship shifts as a result, I'd love to see it. If you want to go the major character death route, I will waive my DNW for this.

Yuukoku no Moriarty/Moriarty the Patriot

My newest obsession... Watched both seasons of the anime and will continue to be caught up in the manga as the English translations allow for (Chapter 64 right now!)
Sherlock Holmes/William James Moriarty (Yuukoku no Moriarty)
  • I love their relationship and their battle of the minds, the flirting and the teasing and the dancing in circles 'catch me if you can'. But they are on two different sides, so that makes this complicated indeed. I'd love to see the exploration of the angst potential of their relationship, maybe it's the reason why they don't enter into one. I can see Sherlock being more pushy as William withdraws into himself and his plans. Go as much canon or diverge as you'd like as to when this actually happens. There is so much there to work with in terms of p a i n, thinking of these two makes my heart ache.
  • If you go into post Reichenbach Fall, that timeskip and codependence and how their relationship might grow and change b/c of the Fall would be lovely from Sherlock taking care of William and perhaps vice versa as well!
  • Any admiration of each other and mutual admission of being similar to each other while very different, morals or otherwise as well as how being and meeting each other has taken them to new heights. Competence kink! I really like the idea that being with Sherlock lets William be his own authentic self, and how well they read each other. Maybe they take on a case together!
  • I'd also love to just see them happy together, domestic, in a better world they've shaped together.
  • This part is from nonconathon, but I'd still like to see it, whether you want to make it more dub-con or twist elements to make it more consensual: I'd love some unhealthy competition, where one thinks they have the upper hand over the other in game of chicken that gets out of hand when it comes to their sexual relationship. Even better if it's not established yet and they both want to impress the other in their own way. Bad communication leads to bad or lack of consent for this, and I see lots of potential for power dynamics in terms of orgasm denial, making bets on the outcome of sex, Sherlock playing with weird chemicals (read: sex pollen or aphrodisiacs or just being high off drugs/gets William on it too maybe?) to make it as messy as possible. Maybe the noncon occurs because they're trying to change the other person's mind and then feels guilty for the aftermath b/c it escalated too far.
Louis James Moriarty/William James Moriarty (Yuukoku no Moriarty)

  • Gen or romantic, up to you!
  • urgh these two give me ~feelings~. I love Louis' unending devotion to William and he'd certainly do anything for him, but he also desperately wants William's attention and to be useful. And in turn William is very protective of Louis and would be hard pressed to tell him no otherwise. Unhealthy coping mechanisms ensue.
  • Explore more of their childhood together, how did they + Albert make a life together? How many times did they look out for and protect each other, maybe more from William's side - and how does Louis carry that weight?
  • After Reichenbach Fall, how often does Louis think about his brother and how does that motivate his work? Does he try to forget/cope in poor fashions? What happens when they reunite?
  • Also from nonconathon here: feel free to spin the premise to make it dub-con or consensual: Just also going to throw out the somnophilia tag given William's canonical tendency to fall asleep and not be woken up by anything for god knows how long. One day, Louis gets curious and takes advantage - maybe William knows, or doesn't! Lay on the guilt real thick here, especially if outside forces (e.g. sex pollen and the like) are in the mix to make this happen between them, AND if feelings were involved for a long time but they chose not to act on it because they're brothers and all that.

Prince of Tennis

Read the entire manga and watched the entire show (plus some OVAs a long time ago), but I don't know much about the New Prince of Tennis manga, so let's just pretend that isn't in play here. If you want to spoil me on it though, go right ahead!
Atobe Keigo/Sanada Genichirou
  • I adore the idea of these two being together. They contrast so well, both strong in their own rights and their personalities clash a lot, kind of like that tango they're named after. Neither are likely to back down, but Atobe is more likely to brag and bitch about it than Sanada who'd be more levelheaded but also brood over it. I think they make good rivals, but also good partners in that right.
  • How do they live life after junior high tennis? Do they go their separate ways? Do they turn pro? How do they still keep in contact - or maybe not at all and they bump into each other again one day at some tango concert and reminisce and catch up?
  • Also would be happy to read a variety of AUs: royalty AU or a soulmate AU comes to mind, mainly because of the potential in their 'meet-cute but really not that cute' and how they'd navigate being linked with the other somehow even though they're so different (e.g. prince/servant or opposing kingdoms, or thinking the other is really beneath or not at all likely to be their soulmate) - but would be happy with whatever AU floats your boat for these two.
  • ALSO given the tango...if you make them dance with each other that would be excellent, especially if accompanied by flirting and a heck lot of sexual tension (resolved or otherwise) and wherever that may lead! I'm cool with their canon ages since the beginning of canon or aged up if that works better for you!
Atobe Keigo/Tezuka Kunimitsu
  • Kind of similar to Tango pair, I like the idea of Atobe being paired with someone who can handle his diva-ness and more exuberant personality and how he might even tone himself down a bit more for his other half and treat them as well as he can. I like how they challenge each other, how they definitely see each other as worthy rivals although expressed in different ways.
  • Show me how their love languages differ, how even if Tezuka is less forceful or loud-spoken, he still gives Atobe his full attention and affection. Show me how their teams react to this unlikely relationship - maybe Hyotei is outraged and overprotective, maybe Seigaku is just in disbelief at first before getting super invasive into the details of what, where, why too. Do they make exceptions for each other? Does that lead to more problems between them as a result of their changing romantic relationship?
  • I also like the thought of Atobe always chasing Tezuka down. Does Tezuka one day acquiesce? Does Atobe one day give up? Do they grow apart only to grow back together? Do they come together only to slowly grow apart?
  • How will their paths diverge after school? I can see them being so OLD together and still very much them. They basically are like adults as 13 year olds in the canon anyway, so lean into what however you'd like!

Fuji Shuusuke/Tezuka Kunimitsu
  • There's a lot of different reasons why I like them. I like their friendly rivalry and their trust in each other. I like the contrast in their personalities and their styles but how they remain really good friends all the same and understand each other so well. The way Tezuka is more stoic and Fuji more outwardly friendly, but both fiercely loyal for their friends/team, will fight hard and ferociously for those they care about and each other!
  • I'm really in love with the idea of 'knowing each other without words' for them. Tezuka's so succinct and people make fun of him for his maturity and all that for his age, but I like the thought of Fuji always being able to get him, reading in between the lines and understanding Tezuka without him having to say or elaborate on things.
  • I like their strength and status as Seigaku's pillars, how dependable they are. I'd like to see a bit more behind the scenes stuff, perhaps comfort after a tough loss, maybe a dumb or cute winning ritual/routine, promises they may have made to each other while younger, perhaps they separate after school and reunite in the future, older and still knowing each other just as well, maybe even better. Oh, and if Tezuka makes the first move and Fuji doesn't think it's real at first even though Tezuka never jokes about anything, I'd swoon.

Word of Honor


Wen Kexing/Xie Wang (Word of Honor)
  • Their dynamic can be so delicious, the mind games and the sharp tongues. How differently they lead, and what sacrifices/deals they would make on behalf of the people they care about.
  • Give me ALL the power dynamics, and feel free to make it as dirty as possible, with as little or as many feelings as possible. I can see a lot of taunting from each of them re: the other on the true object of their affections, and all the angst and guilt that comes with it. That's sexy.
  • I'd love a number of caon-divergent AUs or full AUs if you're so inclined. A world where Xie Wang wins. A world where Wen Kexing is exposed early. A world where they're soulmates, but despise the fact they are. A world where they're not soulmates, but wish they were. A royalty AU where they're from opposing kingdoms at war. Go wild!
Wen Kexing/Zhou Zishu (Word of Honor)
  • However you think the canon ended, continue it! Or change it!
  • I really enjoy their dynamic in how ZZS grounds WKX and how feral they get on each other's behalf, fighting for each other with words or with their weapons and downright losing it if the other is hurt. Loyalty kink suits them so well. I'd love to see them come to each other's rescue more and show their devotion to each other through a variety of actions.
  • I'd like to see the outward sappy stuff too, like how they confess, their first times, maybe they get married. <3
  • Exploration of ZZS and the impact of the nails on his senses, and how WKX navigates that, especially in the context of their sexual relationship if you choose to go that route!
  • I also like WKX being so playful and flirtatious and ZZS being the person to control him/put him in his place ;) In every way, every universe.
  • Also let them travel the world, they deserve a happy life together free from worries, drinking and wandering <3
  • I'd also love a number of AUs if you're interested, like magic/magical realism, time travel or groundhog day (whether embedded in canon or not), battle royale/hunger games, etc. I like the idea of them fighting for each other in every universe, being a good pair and doing dumb things on each other's behalf, being pushed to their limits in order to keep each other and win.

  • I'm requesting Mark and Eduardo here. Feel free to go gen or ship fic and bring in other people as you'd wish.
  • I will never ever ever get tired of fix-it fics for them. How do they fix things after the lawsuit? Who reaches out first? Is there more screaming or just being ignored? Do they forcefully bump into one another at some corporate event? I think I've read every variant of this in the fandom and I still want more. Drunken confessions? Hatesex? Tears and breaking down? Truthful reconciliations? Throwing things at each other? All of the above? Make with it as you will!

SK8 The Infinity [SAFETY]

Watched the whole anime and will keep up with any new canon content if that gives you any bright ideas!
Hasegawa Langa/Kyan Reki (SK8)
  • These two are so so so precious together and I love them for a multitude of reasons. I love how much they mean to each other and how their story starts as well as the potential their relationship has to grow and flourish!
  • Reki took Langa in and shared his hobby, his love with him, taught him and gave him someone to depend on and be his first ever real good friend. And Langa obviously looks up and admires Reki a lot (praise kink cough), values their friendship and the time they spend together skating and otherwise.
  • Considering canon timeline implications or not (well, they could be fairly dense), when and how do they get together? How do they deal with their friendship turning into more and its challenges? Stuff like cultural barrier, their respective pasts before meeting each other, secrets/revelations, strange habits from like living together or dealing with life outside of skating, etc? Have they gotten better at communication via words or are they still dodging the issue in roundabout ways? How big does skating play a role in their life say after graduation? Okay I'm ranting but you get the gist!
  • Outsider POV on their relationship. Did people think they were dating all along so the reveal was like muted and then Reki/Langa go: wait you should be more surprised? How does it change the dynamics in their friend circle (thinking of that party post credit in E12), or at school? How does their family take it? Go funny or deep or whatever you want. The world is your oyster!
  • Gosh go off on the 'you're my teacher Reki' thing, that needs to be explored in sfw and nsfw ways urgh please. I don't have a whole lot of headcanons or preferences for these two smut-wise so if that's your wheelhouse, go right ahead from vanilla to very much not. There's also that one bodyswap prompt on the kink meme that I'd love to see filled if you're up for it haha.
  • Any kind of AU exploration of these two, since I haven't really forayed into that yet. Magic? HP? They are into another sport that isn't skateboarding? Fairytale that isn't Cindereki? *dreamy look at any potential art for this*

Kikuchi Tadashi/Shindo Ainosuke | Adam
  • They break me!!! They hurt me so much and give me all the feelings and it's kind of all over the place, especially re: the scenes we never see. The childhood friends, class difference love story gone right then wrong and then maybe right again? And then you go and tell me Tadashi used to be Ainosuke's father's secretary? Please. Everything about these two is so fucking good.
  • Fix-its are nice! I'm not exactly sure what I'd be fixing in the traditional sense b/c honestly their dynamic is pretty great as it is, but I really like the little details and changes in time post canon and how they would maybe sort that out. Convoluted communication to therapy to venting things out in bed?
  • I like it when Tadashi smiles as an adult. I also like it when Tadashi snaps and tells things as it is/goes after what he wants. That whole rebellious 'entering the tournament as Snake knowing the consequences' is a big mood.
  • Would love to see how their relationship was when they were young to young adults to now and how that has shifted. Were they ever together? Who pined after whom? How do they get their shit together now?
  • Oh, and let them dance/skate together!!! I'd love to see that <3

  • I am basically lumping a bunch of the different variations of this OT4 into one. I like alllllll the mixes of them, so pick your favourite variant(s) and enjoy <3
  • I love each of their distinct personalities and how they carve out a little bit of otaku culture for themselves. I love the girls' friendship and their mutual love for BL and how that translates over to their boyfriends' lives and how Hirotaka is more okay with it (the modeling for her doujins...help) vs Kabakura. Maybe one day that goes a little too far in terms of experimentation, whether it's for a photoshoot or on a dare or cuz they got drunk, up to you!
  • I really like the honesty and way Narumi and Hirotaka interact with each other, how they can be free to be themselves whether or not they're just playing games together or at a con. I like how he's way more functional at work than her but he sucks at taking care of himself. More of the domestic life would be sweet to see, like cooking for him, having a night in that turns into something more.
  • I also LOVE the backstory for Kabakura and Koyanagi starting from a volleyball rivalry to where they eventually end up! The energy is so good and even though they bicker, they still really care for each other and gives into each other's whims to make each other happy. Anything that explores their dynamic from all angles would be so lovely, whether it's more young them backstory or their future life together and how that might change post getting together formally.
  • Maybe more trips away and the shenanigans that may occur as a result!

Hi!

Happy Yuletide and thanks for creating something for me! The thing I love the most about fandom is seeing everyone's passions and the different takes everyone has on the same canon/premise/characters, so I'm super excited to see what you come up with!

I've organized this letter into general likes & DNWs (Do Not Wants) and then by fandom specific prompts/likes/thoughts that might inspire you. I've also requested a few of these fandoms before if you want to filter my dreamwidth tags for a given fandom. Otherwise, feel free to mix & match things in my letter, take inspiration from my AO3 works/bookmarks/older exchange letters or whatnot, or go with whatever your muse is telling you! This letter is only to help with your inspiration if you so choose. I'm also happy with gen or ship works and am cool with all ratings.

Yuukoku no Moriarty | Moriarty the Patriot

Watched both seasons of the anime and am caught up to the English translation of the manga (Chapter 62 right now) and will continue to be. I prefer manga-verse, but am cool with the anime if you are!

William James Moriarty
  • Fandom-specific likes:
    • Mind games & pretty much borderline flirtation between William & Sherlock and how they read each other so well.
    • The fact that the Lord of Crime is 'James Moriarty' and not specifically just William.
    • Exploration of justice, the morality spectrum, and the exceptions people make against their moral compass because of ~reasons~.
    • Everyone's unending devotion/loyalty/trust in William, and how that in turns isolates him.
    • How Sherlock calls him "Liam" and what that implies/might mean to him.

    • I'm requesting just William here, so up to you what you'd like to focus on given his variety of relationships within the canon. My main ships here are Sherlock/William and William/Louis, but I also don't have a NOTP if you're particularly fond of something else.
    • Exploring the concept of William falling asleep at a very bad time. Does he have nightmares? How does this affect the situation? Who catches him falling asleep? Who wakes him up (if anyone)?
    • The implications of the Final Problem and how everyone comes to terms with it. On that note, recovery, taking care of an injury, angst relating to the events of the fall and how other characters take William & Sherlock's disappearance. I'm dreadfully fond of any take of potential "Last Times" and what ensues. If you did want to explore William dying, I will waive my major character death DNW for this.
    • William and Sherlock take on a case together again and having a lot of fun with it. Or frankly anything on William & Sherlock being each other's match - physically, mentally, etc. They're such a good pair together, I'd read them in any scenario (but also they need more smut so uh, shamelessly requesting if you are so inclined, b/c THE POSSIBILITIES esp with the tension & identity porn and guilt and just they're basically flirting 24/7 might as well do the mind games all the way right?)
    • A party at the Moriartys and what goes down - or in contrast, a party at 221B Baker Street.
    • William's brand of flirtation with a side of murder, and/or flirtation that goes wayyy beyond flirting.
    • Dub-con/non-con as a coping mechanism/battle for dominance and/or winning/a way to say goodbye.
    • How Sherlock potentially wins William's brothers over (mostly Louis, cuz y'know)

Watched all the seasons of the anime, the movie, and Liz & The Blue Bird if that helps at all! I don't have any knowledge of the novels unfortunately.

Tanaka Asuka

    • The easy light-hearted feel of the school setting, the friendships developed and the every day slice of life contrasting with the competitive nature and work needed to put in to succeed in the band
    • The friendships in particular based on different friend groups, senpai/kouhai, instruments, etc.
    • Everyone's devotion and love of music and the different ways in which they show it.

  • Fandom-specific prompts:
    • I'm requesting Tanaka Asuka here specifically because she fascinates the hell out of me. But I also love her relationships with Kumiko, her other fellow upper class friends, and the entire band as a whole, if you'd like to explore any of those in particular. Romantically, I'd be interested in Asuka/Kumiko and how that'd unfold (flustered & confused Kumiko? something sweet and relatable? maybe fake dating or just a prank that turns into more? go crazy!) but anything else you're really into ship-wise would also work great by me.
    • I would also be really interested in seeing a story set around her relationship with her family and how she internalizes a lot of that and how that drives Asuka's actions. She's a very complicated character and a lot of that is because of her family upbringing and the tightrope she has to walk between. I'd love some introspective goodness there. It doesn't have to center around her family even; I'd just LOVE to see your take on how she thinks!
    • In terms of music, how does Asuka approach her euphonium studies vs school? How does she get better over time? What are her ending aspirations re: her music and in the end, what does she decide to do with her life?
    • More backstory set during the earlier years before Kumiko's time, in terms of how the band used to be and how they are now under new leadership and renewed commitment!
    • I already wrote this BUT found family found family found family. Everyone is so precious together and I'd love to see their daily interactions, from the mundane to the exciting! Anything not in a band setting would be great to see, for example a school festival or trip or something to that effect. Or go full AU, totally up for that as well!

Vanitas no Carte/The Case Study of Vanitas

I have not watched the anime yet but I am caught up to date (Ch54 as of right now) and will continue to be in the manga.

    • The tension between humans and vampires and how that history changes through time.
    • The origin and meanings behind vampires and their true names
    • Worldbuilding here in general! There's a lot the canon hasn't dug into that I'd love to see.
    • Vanitas & Noé's clash in personalities but also how they manage to read and mesh together in spite of that towards a common cause.
  • Fandom-specific prompts:
    • I'm requesting Vanitas & Noé here. You can choose to gen or ship them together and bring in other characters as you'd like! I have a fond spot for Domi and Jeanne if you want to work them in!
    • The backstory behind Vanitas (the vampire) and Vanitas (the human), especially the experimentation done and its physical/mental lasting effects on Vanitas and how Noé reacts in response.
    • Similarly, Noé's backstory! How did he end up being sold? What was his upbringing like with the humans and then again with vampires? Does he ever come to a crossroads of having to decide definitively which side he's on? Does Vanitas cause that change?
    • Noé drinking Vanitas' blood and what brings that on? At one point Vanitas has already said he'd kill Noé if he ever did it, but I'm both interested in the memories that you may choose to explore or the fallout of tasting Vanitas' blood in the first place. Vampires drinking blood esp from the neck is so incredibly erotic and I'd be so down to read the explicit version of this where they tumble into sex as a result of whatever encounter you choose to throw them in.
    • They have also had some great moments together in terms of committing to each other's cause in numerous ways. I like how Noé is more open and loud about his declarations whereas Vanitas is more secretive and laughs things off even though you can tell he's more complicated than that. Exploring the difference in communication, perhaps leading to miscommunication, would also be wonderful to see, especially also given their personality differences and how Vanitas gets roped into Noé's kindness and antics and how Noé runs blind in Vanitas' schemes.

I'm up to date with the manga (Ch148 right now) and will continue to be!

    • The insanity that is the concept of Blue Lock and how they all consented to this crazy experiment out of a desire to be the best.
    • On that note, the concept of 'ego' and how that manifests in different ways in soccer, but also in life and how each character approaches it.
    • The comradery and competition of trying to beat each other but also meet each other down the line as true friends if they are strong enough to succeed.
    • This is basically a boarding school at this point so whatever shenanigans that go on behind the scenes as teenagers do.
  • Fandom-specific prompts:
    • I'm requesting Any character for this, as they are all individually fascinating to me! Gen or ship works for me. I literally just caught up an hour ago as I type this so I have no idea what popular ships even are, but spur of the moment, I'd be fond of Nagi/Reo, Isagi/Bashira, Isagi/Rin, Rin/Sae or whatever you choose to create!
    • More immediately post canon, how does winning the match vs the U20s change their lives and careers? Maybe a future fic where they describe Blue Lock and how it shaped them. On that note, what happens/happened to Blue Lock afterwards? Is it celebrated and revered or was it a one time success?
    • I really like their different partnerships in the sport, how some people spark better chemical reactions and plays together and are able to predict/think alike.
    • For Nagi & Reo, I really love how they grow into their own and love for the sport, especially for Reo who theoretically has everything he could possibly want, but ends up striving for the near impossible by starting a sport so late, and finding Nagi and inspiring him and calling HIM HIS TREASURE like save me. They've been through a lot together but don't seem to at least hold it too much against each other for the breakdown of their relationship halfway through the canon. I'd love to see how that has affected them and where their relationship goes from here.
    • Similarly for Rin & Sae, oh boy their backstory took me by surprise. Explain what happened to Sae to cause him to become that way, and where they go from here!
    • I really like Isagi becoming someone to watch after being the underdog, and how he and Bachira become friends over inspiring each other to unleash their inner monsters, so to speak. I like how they got each other from the get go, and the whole concept of 'steal me back' with Bachira makes my mind go places...ahem, sexy rewards and all, y'know?
    • On that note...they're away from home and it's soccer day in and day out. How do they unwind? Teenagers and hormones...give me those awkward walking in on each other, shower scenes, friends with benefits or with emotions type of deal. You know it definitely happened ;)
    • Give these boys some time off! You know those filler beach/festival type of episodes you get every once in a while? Yeah, give me some of that good old found family bonding nonsense!!

I'm writing this letter from scratch to be more general and less rambly but I've requested a lot of these fandoms before if you want to filter my dreamwidth for a given fandom. Otherwise, feel free to mix & match things in my letter, take inspiration from my AO3 works/bookmarks/older exchange letters or whatnot, or go with whatever your muse is telling you! This letter is only to help with your inspiration if you so choose.

    • Make Chimera Ant Arc hurt more. I dare you.

    • Dysfunctional Mark/Eduardo and how incredibly toxic and hot that can be when you throw the lawsuit and the aftermath in there. Emotional manipulation and all that.

    • Life after Facebook for Eduardo and how he does or doesn't manage to move on.

    • People taking care of Mark, who doesn't seem to eat or sleep or want to if he can code instead. 
    • Any number of backstories for some of the random Facebook features that exist (e.g. poking, the Wall, etc, oh my god as I type this I feel so old because I have no idea what recent Facebook features even are.)

Thanks for creating something for me! The thing I love the most about fandom is seeing everyone's passions and the different takes everyone has on the same canon/premise/characters, so I'm super excited to see what you come up with! 

I've organized this letter into general likes & DNWs and then by fandom specifics likes, prompts, and medium specifics that might inspire you if you're going canon.

For FIAB, I probably did overlap a few mediums at least b/c uh, the tagset is too beautiful, but I'm honestly not picky especially with the in-universe documents which is a pretty big catch-all that can suit a number of mediums! I love the dumb boys in Haikyuu in any setting! All the firsts in any circumstance and discovering themselves and each other - either cute or funny or spicy, it's all good!

Hinata Shouyou/Kageyama Tobio (Haikyuu!!)
 
  • Ah yes, Kagehina, the ship I've adored from the get-go. Reasons I like them are many, but it really comes down to how Haikyuu was centered around them, about their rivalry but also how they make each other better. They both start off with so many flaws but when they come together, they are in so many ways invincible. That goes for volleyball but also just their inherent personalities I think - despite all the bickering and all, I think they really do have a very fond spot for each other and trust each other a lot.
  • That being said, feel free to explore any of that! The times they missed each other when apart (in any arc), what kind of outlandish promises and competitions they may have with each other (in volleyball? at home? when abroad? in an AU?), what new things do they teach each other once they get together? Is Kageyama crap at romance and needs help from his friends? Is Hinata too oblivious and lovestruck to care? How in the world did they get together anyhow given how thick their skulls are? They probably needed some luck...or help... the possibilities are endless. Run with it!
  • Also, the timeskip has a lot of potential. I'd love to see you explore how they've grown apart, but perhaps also closer/become more relatable as rivals in professional volleyball and/or teammates on the Olympic team. The twist can be sweet or spicy or both, getting together or established relationship from dealing with long distance. How do they deal with fame? How do they air out their relationship in public eyes? Or avoid it? Maybe they get exposed?
 
Akaashi Keiji/Bokuto Koutarou (Haikyuu!!)
 
  • I love these two being a good match for each other, how Akaashi always watches out for Bokuto, how dependable they find each other. I love how Akaashi's lists of Bokuto facts (so maybe something in that zone), Bokuto's bright nature and unabashed charisma and confidence that draws everyone in. Throw in as much humour as you're willing to; I love to laugh at these dumb boys trying their best with each other.
  • I just think they complement each other extremely well, so whether you explore pre-relationship pining or just being so close that everyone already thinks they're dating anyway, the weird sweet things they do for each other once they get together, or just being an old married couple who are way too into each other the whole damn time, that'd make me super happy! In whichever universe, I think these two would be incredibly into each other in the sweetest and dumbest of ways.
  • Thinking of all the things they would teach each other over the years, Akaashi being more logical and Bokuto being more instinctual. How does that clash in their careers? Or in love? Sexually or romantically? Or not at all - their communication might be pretty darn smoothed out by the time they grow up. I'd love to see something about their love story over the years!
 
Kuroo Tetsurou/Tsukishima Kei (Haikyuu!!)
 
  • I have no idea how I got super into these two. There's something about the mentor/mentee relationship. I love how easygoing Kuroo is (esp how he calls Tsukishima Tsukki) but also how easily they read each other. I love their rivalry but also how they help each other in training, and cheer each other on to do better and grow into their own authentic self together.
  • Give me their snark and goading each other on, give me their support of each other, their devotion (long distance relationship?). I like the idea of Kuroo having seen something in Tsukishima the first time they met and how that perhaps shifts and grows stronger over time as they grow to know each other better.
  • How do they react to grand gestures? How do their respective teams take their new relationship? Who takes the lead in the relationship and why? (Given they're both not the type to back down but also would totally play mind games with the other).

I've only watched the 2011 Anime which is where my love and knowledge lies, but manga spoilers are a-ok by me.
 
Gon Freecs/Killua Zoldyck (HxH)
  • Ok I absolutely adore this pairing, romantic or platonic. It is so clear how much they mean and care for each other in canon, and in how the fandom including myself is obsessed with bringing them back together post separation.
  • I would love your take on their reunion. When does it happen, how, who initiates? How have they grown better or worse apart? Do they travel again? Do they have a heart to heart where they admit their shortcomings? There is often a focus on Gon's apology to Killua after the CA arc, but maybe Killua apologizes too for not saying anything sooner. Maybe they realize they were too young for what they got caught up in, and needed to take that step back to find their youth again. Maybe they find that again in each other.
  • Romantically, I really like the concept of their different love languages. We get a lot of Killua POV in canon, but he doesn't voice most of it, contrary to Gon. How do they make their relationship work given this? Is there insecurity? Shyness? Grand gestures gone right or wrong? Who initiates and when? I'm a big fan of their roles being dynamic and fluid, with the both of them loving and knowing each other well enough to know when to take a step forward or back - but it might take them a while to discover this (which would be super fun to read about). Reading about them being domestic would be also *chef's kiss* because they deserve happiness.
  • Along that vein, I think their first times would be interesting - they love each other a lot and how does that manifest in their physical affection for one another? My mind goes to praise kink and switching pretty much right away, but happy to read anything that you think could fit their characters well in that development! Aged up 14+ is fine by me if you go this route!
  • The codependency between them is also so, so, delicious. As sweet as I love them, I can imagine this getting a little dark/toxic as well, especially given their history and falling back into old habits, putting each other on a pedestal or unable to communicate things the way they'd like. Feel free to explore residual guilt, self-loathing, wanting to please the other no matter what, etc.

Illumi Zoldyck/Killua Zoldyck (Hunter X Hunter)
  • And in contrast to my love for killugon, I am intrigued by the twisted relationship between these two.
  • Things I like include Illumi's feelings towards Killua, whether it's obsessive love or jealousy of Killua's status as heir or anywhere in between. Especially if you compare Killua's protectiveness of Alluka from Illumi and how he might feel about that, given his feelings on the importance of family and what is right/wrong. I also love the fact that Illumi still somehow thinks he is #1 in Killua's life, despite all signs pointing to the contrary. Feel free to make this more humorous or dark.
  • I also want to know how Killua feels about Illumi in turn, especially what caused his traumatic response to Illumi in particular (whether it's in the realm of grooming/hypnotic non-con/abuse territory or something less intense).
  • It'd be great if their relationship was messy versus more clear cut abuser/abused, and if there is some reciprocity of familial/something more there to make the situation more entangled in a wide-array of emotions.

A character analysis would also be amazing to read.
  • For reddit: I think this could just be so hilarious with how earnest Gon is and maybe they do an AMA together and Killua has to like step in all the time to veto his answers, or they ask some dumb relationship questions to the world. Lots of potential avenues in all directions, go with what inspires you!

Gaara/Rock Lee
 
  • Was in love with this pairing from Naruto so so long ago and still am! What I like about it is probably the same as everyone else who likes them - Lee's earnestness, his easy-going nature and determination, his willingness to improve himself and be valuable/useful, his kindheartedness and ability to forgive + Gaara's vulnerability hidden behind by his strength and his shell, learning about what it means to be there for others, using his power to protect not only himself but those he cares for, learning to communicate what he wants, slowly but surely.
  • They fit really well - they've both had shitty childhoods and slowly gain friends and family who get their true authentic selves throughout canon. They were each other's firsts in many ways and I'd love to read more of their firsts as they navigate a potential relationship. Would Lee be enthusiastic? Clueless or perhaps not from thorough research whenever he sets his mind to something, like it's training? Would Gaara skirt around the issue because he's unsure/nervous, or would he be super straight forward without regard for social norms or those around them? Their characters are so interesting that I'd find any stage of their relationship from feelings realization to confession to dating to commitment to sex an enthralling read.
  • What really defines their relationship for me is how they met and what that paved the way for watching out for each other, being a fighting pair, being friends. Would hence prefer canon-type fics, but if you can replicate the same dynamic in an AU, all props to you and I'd love to see it!

Hasegawa Langa/Kyan Reki (SK8)
 
  • These two are so so so precious together and I love them for a multitude of reasons. I love how much they mean to each other and how their story starts as well as the potential their relationship has to grow and flourish!
  • Reki took Langa in and shared his hobby, his love with him, taught him and gave him someone to depend on and be his first ever real good friend. And Langa obviously looks up and admires Reki a lot (praise kink cough), values their friendship and the time they spend together skating and otherwise.
  • Considering canon timeline implications or not (well, they could be fairly dense), when and how do they get together? How do they deal with their friendship turning into more and its challenges? Stuff like cultural barrier, their respective pasts before meeting each other, secrets/revelations, strange habits from like living together or dealing with life outside of skating, etc? Have they gotten better at communication via words or are they still dodging the issue in roundabout ways? How big does skating play a role in their life say after graduation? Okay I'm ranting but you get the gist!
  • Outsider POV on their relationship. Did people think they were dating all along so the reveal was like muted and then Reki/Langa go: wait you should be more surprised? How does it change the dynamics in their friend circle (thinking of that party post credit in E12), or at school? How does their family take it? Go funny or deep or whatever you want. The world is your oyster!
  • Gosh go off on the 'you're my teacher Reki' thing, that needs to be explored in sfw and nsfw ways urgh please. I don't have a whole lot of headcanons or preferences for these two smut-wise so if that's your wheelhouse, go right ahead from vanilla to very much not. There's also that one bodyswap prompt on the kink meme that I'd love to see filled if you're up for it haha.
  • Any kind of AU exploration of these two, since I haven't really forayed into that yet. Magic? HP? They are into another sport that isn't skateboarding? Fairytale that isn't Cindereki? *dreamy look at any potential art for this*
 
Hasegawa Langa/Shindo Ainosuke | Adam
  • I have so much I want to say about Eden and why I'm obsessed with them, and I think it's because of how complex the relationship can be and the more I see different takes on them the more I'm like huh, this is real fucking versatile. And I tend to like that a lot in my ships, for someone to create a soft introspective piece and another to go a twisted dark route instead. Both and all in between are really great!
  • It's clear that Adam is drawn to Langa, but the reasoning can vary a lot - because Langa's a talented skater? Because he reminds Adam of himself? The adrenaline rush? Taking risks? Just pure attraction and fearlessness? Langa doesn't reject him either, going anywhere from nonchalance to acceptance and being thrilled to be in Adam's company. There is so, so much you can work with.
  • Like I said, lots of range here so go with whatever calls your name the loudest, but I'll rant a few starting points if it helps!
  • Power dynamics - Adam is obviously older, more experienced, with a propensity for some self-destructive behaviour and taking those around him down with him at least during the majority of canon. Langa's young, kind of dumb, you know the drill... or maybe he does think he knows what he's doing, and gets in over his head, or regardless, ends up liking being with Adam that way given he doesn't have much to compare to. Cue two sided fascination/learning to be with each other in skating and non-skating ways. It can also get pretty dark/obsessive, twisted in a 'I'd do anything for you' way and how Langa gets roped into that world.
  • Or the redemption route, where Langa's the only one who can teach Adam the love for skating again, and what 'love' can mean overall coming from someone else who means well. Deconstruct episode 12, like that whole falling together/zone thing, how dark it was, what it implied, the fallout of it, the path to healing, etc!
  • Not picky at all if you go nsfw for any of the above. I like all the flavours, consensual to not, messy to kinky to sweet.
 
Kikuchi Tadashi/Shindo Ainosuke | Adam
  • They break me!!! They hurt me so much and give me all the feelings and it's kind of all over the place, especially re: the scenes we never see. The childhood friends, class difference love story gone right then wrong and then maybe right again? And then you go and tell me Tadashi used to be Ainosuke's father's secretary? Please. Everything about these two is so fucking good.
  • Fix-its are nice! I'm not exactly sure what I'd be fixing in the traditional sense b/c honestly their dynamic is pretty great as it is, but I really like the little details and changes in time post canon and how they would maybe sort that out. Convoluted communication to therapy to venting things out in bed?
  • I like it when Tadashi smiles as an adult. I also like it when Tadashi snaps and tells things as it is/goes after what he wants. That whole rebellious 'entering the tournament as Snake knowing the consequences' is a big mood.
  • Would love to see how their relationship was when they were young to young adults to now and how that has shifted. Were they ever together? Who pined after whom? How do they get their shit together now?
  • Oh, and let them dance/skate together!!! I'd love to see that <3
Hasegawa Langa/Kikuchi Tadashi/Shindo Ainosuke | Adam (SK8 the Infinity)

  • I don't have a whole lot to say about this here individually, my likes for the two individual ships above kind of tell you my preferred character dynamics. BUT I'm really fascinated by how it would work. They're all so different people and the two-people relationship equivalents that I've requested have a whole lot of range.
  • Like how does it start? Who floats the idea? Is it all of them together or kind of rotating on/off? New feelings emerge? Sucks it up for their primary partner? What are they into? I have so many questions. Go wild. They're wild.
Nanjo Kojiro | Joe/Sakurayashiki Kaoru | Cherry Blossom/Shindo Ainosuke | Adam (SK8 the Infinity)

  • I'm putting these two together b/c fundamentally my preference for these two ships probably come from the same place. It being their younger selves versus present day and how that dynamic now plays out in present day. I've seen a lot of different takes on this and I'm curious to see yours!
  • For these pairings I don't mind which ship(s) are more prominent, either in the past or present. Feel free to go more Joe/Cherry present day w/ past trauma from Adam or focus on the past with future musings or have Joe pine, or whatever mix/match of these three.
  • I think most of what has prompted these ships to take off was the flashback episodes. There's a lot you don't see, so any missing scenes would be fantastic. How does it start? Who floats the idea? Is it teenage romance, stupidity, rebellion, manipulation, or what? All of it is good! Go as sweet or as dark as you'd like.
  • How does it end (presumably when Adam leaves - or maybe not)? What happens when he returns and is someone different? Is there a confrontation? How does Joe and/or Cherry take it?
  • Explore the "I want to know/see your true self" and/or "You guys were special" lines however you'd like! (Apologies if the translation isn't spot on I'm just rambling here).There is so so much there to untangle.
  • Post-canon, how does things change? Is there an apology or a heart-to-heart? Is there a smackdown? Both?

Atobe Keigo/Sanada Genichirou
 
  • I adore the idea of these two being together. They contrast so well, both strong in their own rights and their personalities clash a lot, kind of like that tango they're named after. Neither are likely to back down, but Atobe is more likely to brag and bitch about it than Sanada who'd be more levelheaded but also brood over it. I think they make good rivals, but also good partners in that right.
  • How do they live life after junior high tennis? Do they go their separate ways? Do they turn pro? How do they still keep in contact - or maybe not at all and they bump into each other again one day at some tango concert and reminisce and catch up?
  • Also would be happy to read a variety of AUs: royalty AU or a soulmate AU comes to mind, mainly because of the potential in their 'meet-cute but really not that cute' and how they'd navigate being linked with the other somehow even though they're so different (e.g. prince/servant or opposing kingdoms, or thinking the other is really beneath or not at all likely to be their soulmate) - but would be happy with whatever AU floats your boat for these two.
 
Atobe Keigo/Tezuka Kunimitsu
 
  • Kind of similar to Tango pair, I like the idea of Atobe being paired with someone who can handle his diva-ness and more exuberant personality and how he might even tone himself down a bit more for his other half and treat them as well as he can. I like how they challenge each other, how they definitely see each other as worthy rivals although expressed in different ways.
  • Show me how their love languages differ, how even if Tezuka is less forceful or loud-spoken, he still gives Atobe his full attention and affection. Show me how their teams react to this unlikely relationship - maybe Hyotei is outraged and overprotective, maybe Seigaku is just in disbelief at first before getting super invasive into the details of what, where, why too. How will their paths diverge after school?
 
Fuji Shuusuke/Kikumaru Eiji
  • This was honestly my first pair I stumbled into for PoT and at the time (a very long time ago, literally when I started in fandom), I had no idea it was a rare pair. Some author on FFN dragged me in and I just found their relationship more interesting than the primary other ships they have. I like Fuji's mysterious, sweet, dangerous nature and his friendship with Eiji who is naturally just as bright but maybe more pure on the surface level. I like the idea of Fuji being a good friend, like helping Eiji with homework, or giving advice, or Eiji being down to earth with Fuji and being trusted with his secrets.
  • They're both very sweet people in different ways, how would that manifest in a relationship? Somehow I'd think Fuji might be a bit whipped, so maybe show me how fluffy their dates would be! But also Fuji definitely has a devious side, so he wouldn't give Eiji what he wants right off the bat without making him whine and work for it. But they're also very different: Eiji is very fast paced while Fuji is more willing to wait, both on and off the court. I think their career paths would be pretty different, but they'd be supportive of each other too.

Shishido Ryou/Ootori Choutarou
  • THIS PAIR. I like the very idea that Shishido wasn't into Doubles and somehow finds his groove and partner in Ootori. I love their dynamic and complementary personalities, how Shishido is headstrong and encourages Ootori to believe in himself more and be less soft-spoken. 
  • I like seeing them supporting each other and how that faith carries through in their regular lives or in tennis matches, and how they face setbacks together. Alternatively, the struggles and pain points of their initial partnership and how they solve that to evolve into the powerhouse they are today! Character/relationship development is one of my favourite things and I think they have a lot of room to build upon here.
  • Of course... since this IS prince of tennis, lay on ALL the Doubles team parallels and that amazing Silver Pair connection/bond and all the lovely teasing from the Hyotei crew re: their relationship before or after they get together. Also that senpai/kouhai relationship is VERY good.

Fuji Shuusuke/Tezuka Kunimitsu (PoT)
  • There's a lot of different reasons why I like them. I like their friendly rivalry and their trust in each other. I like the contrast in their personalities and their styles but how they remain really good friends all the same and understand each other so well. The way Tezuka is more stoic and Fuji more outwardly friendly, but both fiercely loyal for their friends/team, will fight hard and ferociously for those they care about and each other!
  • I'm really in love with the idea of 'knowing each other without words' for them. Tezuka's so succinct and people make fun of him for his maturity and all that for his age, but I like the thought of Fuji always being able to get him, reading in between the lines and understanding Tezuka without him having to say or elaborate on things. 
  • I like their strength and status as Seigaku's pillars, how dependable they are. I'd like to see a bit more behind the scenes stuff, perhaps comfort after a tough loss, maybe a dumb or cute winning ritual/routine, promises they may have made to each other while younger, perhaps they separate after school and reunite in the future, older and still knowing each other just as well, maybe even better. Oh, and if Tezuka makes the first move and Fuji doesn't think it's real at first even though Tezuka never jokes about anything, I'd swoon.

  • I am basically lumping all the different variations of this OT4 into one. I like alllllll the mixes of them, so pick your favourite variant(s) and enjoy <3
  • I love each of their distinct personalities and how they carve out a little bit of otaku culture for themselves. I love the girls' friendship and their mutual love for BL and how that translates over to their boyfriends' lives and how Hirotaka is more okay with it (the modeling for her doujins...help) vs Kabakura. Maybe one day that goes a little too far in terms of experimentation, whether it's for a photoshoot or on a dare or cuz they got drunk, up to you!
  • I really like the honesty and way Narumi and Hirotaka interact with each other, how they can be free to be themselves whether or not they're just playing games together or at a con. I like how he's way more functional at work than her but he sucks at taking care of himself. More of the domestic life would be sweet to see, like cooking for him, having a night in that turns into something more.
  • I also LOVE the backstory for Kabakura and Koyanagi starting from a volleyball rivalry to where they eventually end up! The energy is so good and even though they bicker, they still really care for each other and gives into each other's whims to make each other happy. Anything that explores their dynamic from all angles would be so lovely, whether it's more young them backstory or their future life together and how that might change post getting together formally.
  • Maybe more trips away and the shenanigans that may occur as a result!

Fushiguro Megumi/Sukuna | Ryoumen Sukuna (JJK)
  • There are a lot of things I can say about Sukufushi that entices me, ranging from the sweet to the very much not. I like all aspects of the spectrum!
  • For sweet, I like how tender and encouraging Sukuna is with Megumi? Please have your take on why Sukuna is so fascinated with him, whether it's his technique or his heritage or his personality or whatever. I like the idea of Megumi either being disinterested or casually accepting of Sukuna's affections, not knowing to what extent Sukuna cares for him and being surprised when he eventually finds out. Maybe Megumi learns of Sukuna's intentions and decides to help him after a slow burn romance; maybe he despises Sukuna's plans and is rather torn between whether or not he should do it out of loyalty to Sukuna or stick to his own morals. Maybe he gets coerced into it, or manipulated into it.
  • For not sweet, all the dub-con/non-con. Obsession gone wrong, toxic relationship where Sukuna wants Megumi in ways Megumi can't or doesn't want to offer him. Perhaps Megumi gets enticed by Sukuna's expertise or knowledge but then gets in too deep. Maybe he sacrifices himself after realizing his worth in Sukuna's eyes in favour of something else, or protecting someone.
Zenin Mai/Zenin Maki (JJK)
  • Feel free to go gen or romantic! I like the dynamic between these two, from young and loving and learning how to grow up - and differently from each other, growing apart with different ideals, to how that morphs as they become jujutsu sorcerers in their own right.
  • I like how Mai tries to justify her own feelings and internalize them, feeling rather bitter about everything versus how Maki is more headstrong and open. I like to see them conversing/confronting each other more openly on how their lives were shaped by their awful upbringing, and perhaps them banding together to change that in ways different from the canon... yes, please diverge as much as you'd like to make that happen. Or hurt me. I'm cool with that too.
  • I love their devotion to each other as well. They obviously show it in different fashions, so feel free to compare/contrast them, and show how strong their overall bond is in moments that matter.
Fushiguro Megumi & Itadori Yuuji & Kugisaki Nobara (JJK)
  • I love these three being together and how different their personalities are and how well they work together while bickering and judging each other all the while.
  • Maybe they tackle a curse together, kind of like a casefic, and they all showcase their strengths/make up for each other's weaknesses. Maybe they just have a nice day out and go shopping, eat somewhere, be normal teenagers, gossip, make fun of their teachers and classmates. Maybe they have a sleepover and share a heart to heart. Maybe take them to end of canon where they've conquered/saved the world together but held onto an unending friendship no matter what despite the sacrifices/what they've lost.

Moriarty the Patriot/Yuukoku no Moriarty

My newest obsession... Watched both seasons of the anime and will continue to be caught up in the manga as the English translations allow for.
 
 
Sherlock Holmes/William James Moriarty (Yuukoku no Moriarty)
 
  • I love their relationship and their battle of the minds, the flirting and the teasing and the dancing in circles 'catch me if you can'. But they are on two different sides, so that makes this complicated indeed. I'd love to see the exploration of the angst potential of their relationship, maybe it's the reason why they don't enter into one. I can see Sherlock being more pushy as William withdraws into himself and his plans. Go as much canon or diverge as you'd like as to when this actually happens. There is so much there to work with in terms of p a i n, thinking of these two makes my heart ache.
  • If you go into post Reichenbach Fall, that timeskip and codependence and how their relationship might grow and change b/c of the Fall would be lovely from Sherlock taking care of William and perhaps vice versa as well!
  • Any admiration of each other and mutual admission of being similar to each other while very different, morals or otherwise as well as how being and meeting each other has taken them to new heights. Competence kink! I really like the idea that being with Sherlock lets William be his own authentic self, and how well they read each other. Maybe they take on a case together!
  • I'd also love to just see them happy together, domestic, in a better world they've shaped together.
  • This part is from nonconathon, but I'd still like to see it, whether you want to make it more dub-con or twist elements to make it more consensual: I'd love some unhealthy competition, where one thinks they have the upper hand over the other in game of chicken that gets out of hand when it comes to their sexual relationship. Even better if it's not established yet and they both want to impress the other in their own way. Bad communication leads to bad or lack of consent for this, and I see lots of potential for power dynamics in terms of orgasm denial, making bets on the outcome of sex, Sherlock playing with weird chemicals (read: sex pollen or aphrodisiacs or just being high off drugs/gets William on it too maybe?) to make it as messy as possible. Maybe the noncon occurs because they're trying to change the other person's mind and then feels guilty for the aftermath b/c it escalated too far.
 
Louis James Moriarty/William James Moriarty (Yuukoku no Moriarty)

  • Gen or romantic, up to you!
  • urgh these two give me ~feelings~. I love Louis' unending devotion to William and he'd certainly do anything for him, but he also desperately wants William's attention and to be useful. And in turn William is very protective of Louis and would be hard pressed to tell him no otherwise. Unhealthy coping mechanisms ensue.
  • Explore more of their childhood together, how did they + Albert make a life together? How many times did they look out for and protect each other, maybe more from William's side - and how does Louis carry that weight?
  • After Reichenbach Fall, how often does Louis think about his brother and how does that motivate his work? Does he try to forget/cope in poor fashions? What happens when they reunite?
  • Also from nonconathon here: feel free to spin the premise to make it dub-con or consensual: Just also going to throw out the somnophilia tag given William's canonical tendency to fall asleep and not be woken up by anything for god knows how long. One day, Louis gets curious and takes advantage - maybe William knows, or doesn't! Lay on the guilt real thick here, especially if outside forces (e.g. sex pollen and the like) are in the mix to make this happen between them, AND if feelings were involved for a long time but they chose not to act on it because they're brothers and all that.

  • I just really really love these two and how earnest Cao Weining's love is for Gu Xiang and how that leads to her lowering her mask and returning that love, wanting to be better and wanting him to love her for who she is. I always remember how excited she looked when she revealed the identity of her zhuren/master to him and was able to share every facet of herself with him.
  • I want them to have a happy ending ... please diverge from canon as gratuitously as you'd like to get that to happen. How do they live their life together? How do their differences in upbringing and the change in the world affect their married life?
  • Their devotion to each other and Gu Xiang's range of kindness and feral protectiveness for him is also excellent to see.
  • A reincarnation/in every lifetime tie-in story would also break and make my heart!!
 
Wen Kexing & Zhang Chengling & Zhou Zishu (Word of Honor)
  • FOUND FAMILY FOUND FAMILY FOUND FAMILY
  • I adore them living together as a family and how that dynamic is! Who cooks? Who cleans? How does training go? Where do they live? Do they travel together? Yes, play with canon as much as you'd like to make that happen.
  • I like their bickering and trust of each other, maybe they help rebuild things together, or they exit into wandering the world, taking well deserved time off. Melt my heart.
 
Wen Kexing/Xie Wang (Word of Honor)
  • Their dynamic can be so delicious, the mind games and the sharp tongues. How differently they lead, and what sacrifices/deals they would make on behalf of the people they care about. Give me ALL the power dynamics, and feel free to make it as dirty as possible, with as little or as many feelings as possible. I can see a lot of taunting from each of them re: the other on the true object of their affections, and all the angst and guilt that comes with it. That's sexy.
 
Wen Kexing/Zhou Zishu (Word of Honor)
  • However you think the canon ended, continue it! Or change it!
  • I really enjoy their dynamic in how ZZS grounds WKX and how feral they get on each other's behalf, fighting for each other with words or with their weapons and downright losing it if the other is hurt. Loyalty kink suits them so well. I'd love to see them come to each other's rescue more and show their devotion to each other through a variety of actions. 
  • I'd like to see the outward sappy stuff too, like how they confess, their first times, maybe they get married. <3
  • Exploration of ZZS and the impact of the nails on his senses, and how WKX navigates that, especially in the context of their sexual relationship if you choose to go that route!
  • I also like WKX being so playful and flirtatious and ZZS being the person to control him/put him in his place ;) In every way, every universe. 
  • Also let them travel the world, they deserve a happy life together free from worries, drinking and wandering <3

WB: The Nails of Seven Torments (WOH TV 21)
  • I'd LOVE more backstory on this, perhaps more exceptions, how it was developed, versions that've failed in the past, schematics, etc. Go wild, because to be quite honest with you, I don't FULLY understand how this works so I'll trust whatever you tell me!
